Position:  Assistant to the Senior Account Manager of Commercial Sales
Reports To: Senior Account Manager of Commercial Sales
Effective:  10/01/2026

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant is responsible for assisting all aspects of contract business, including commercial and multi-family
projects, from administrative work such as billing through on-site work including pre-install walk throughs or install team
supervision.  This role requires project management skills, understanding of Big Sandy systems, the ability to multi-task and
the confidence to speak with other subcontractors, builders, manufacturers and installation teams.  The position blends
in-store responsibilities with frequent job site engagement.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
 Assist the Senior Account Manager of Commercial Sales in the day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to:
  • Pre-install site walk throughs
  • Post-install site walk throughs
  • Site visits while install team is present
  • Attending on-site subcontractor meetings 
  • Participating in scope review meetings prior to contract award
  • Analyzing project drawings for appliance quote determinations
  • Commercial billing
  • Creating and submitting quotes
  • Updating CAM scorecards
  • Complete forecast sheets
  • Tracking backorder and/or split offs
CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Contract Sales Expertise:  Deep understanding of multi-family and commercial sales cycles.
  • Project Management:  Ability to coordinate timelines, resources and deliverables across complex installations.
  • Contract Negotiation:  Skilled in negotiating favorable terms and managing change orders.
  • CRM Proficiency:  Disciplined use of Pipeline CRM to manage leads, bids and ongoing projects.
  • Financial Acumen:  Competence in invoicing, billing and accounts receivable management.
  • Communication & Collaboration:  Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with contractors and internal teams.
  • Problem Solving:  Ability to anticipate issues on job sites and proactively resolve challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Proven success managing accounts, bids and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in coordinating installation schedules and participating in job site/project manager meetings.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance standards in commercial construction environments.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 40 clocked hours per week.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
